In addition to the price quote for fire-resistant steel doors, many people are likely to have questions about the fire certification for the chosen products.
On this matter, Alumax Vietnam would like to provide the following information to our customers:
Fire certification will be provided free of charge by Alumax for types of fire-resistant doors that use common certificates (copies). For fire-resistant doors with individual certificates (certification based on batch inspection), the specific pricing will depend on the quantity for the project. In cases where fire-resistant doors require a higher structure than the structure specified in the common inspection certificate, the price will be calculated specifically for each order. Batch inspection certificates for the project will only be produced according to the common template provided by the Ministry of Public Security. Alumax Vietnam’s common inspection certificates are currently available for 60 minutes and 90 minutes of fire resistance.
3.Structure of Fireproof Steel Doors
The structure of fireproof steel doors consists of the door frame, door jamb, and door leaf. The primary materials used in the construction of fireproof steel doors are standard steel sheets and a fire-resistant core, which includes materials such as glass wool, glass fabric, and Magnesium oxide. Recently, in compliance with the requirements of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department, all fireproof steel doors, regardless of the inner materials such as Magnesium oxide, honeycomb paper, glass wool, or gypsum, must undergo real-life door sample combustion tests for certification.
Fireproof steel doors have a unique structure with various components. The design may vary for each type of door, or it can be customized based on user preferences. However, in the market, the structure of various types of doors typically includes the following components:

- Constructed from steel sheets with a thickness ranging from 1.2 to 2.0mm.

Fireproof steel doors are manufactured according to the standards of the firefighting department and are certified with “fireproof door means” to be introduced to the market.

7. Installation Process of Fireproof Steel Doors
In fire prevention and firefighting, besides choosing the right type of fireproof door, the installation process is crucial. - Step 1: Transporting Fireproof Steel Doors After production, fireproof steel doors are transported to the construction site for installation. The doors and necessary accessories are packaged, padded to prevent scratches, and transported by truck. For high-rise buildings, the doors are transported to the installation site using a hoist.
- Step 2: Preparing Installation Tools The installation tool kit includes concrete drills, screw drills, rubber hammers, iron hammers, hand saws, pliers, power cords, a measuring tape, wrenches, hydraulic sealant guns, and silicone glue.
- Step 3: Overall Inspection of Doors and Accessories Before installing fireproof steel doors, the technical staff conducts an overall inspection of the doors and accompanying accessories.
